Are You a Hedgehog or a Fox?

I’m just starting out in this game so I have relied heavily on advice from a number of sources. One person who has played a key role in getting me started is Mike Filsaime, a very successful Internet Marketer who I believe is now retiring from the scene to concentrate his efforts on other things.

Mike Filsaime came to my attention by way of Michael Cheney, another marketer who I leaned on for early advice. Cheney sent me an email a while back describing an offer I “simply couldn’t refuse”, Mike Filsaime’s 7 Figure Secrets seminar (aff. link) in 16 video parts which originally sold for over $1,200.

Here’s the good part, Mike Filsaime was giving these away for nothing! Totally free!

Even I’m not sceptical enough to pass up an offer like that so I followed the link and signed-up. I passed on the various offers presented before getting to the free stuff. True to his word, there they were, 16 free streaming videos available for immediate viewing.

I’ve watched quite a few Internet Marketing videos over the last six months or so. Some have been okay, some have been not-so-okay and some have been a total waste of time. But these videos actually made me get to work and start doing something. Before watching these videos I was finding every excuse under the sun not to make a start. Wrong time of year, too busy at work, need to do more research, I’ll start tomorrow…

Anyway, it turns out I’m a fox – madly rushing from one thing to the next whilst never focusing on anything. What I needed to be was a hedgehog, single minded, dedicated to a single task until the task was complete. Yeah, it’s a bit touchy-feely but behind the terminology these were 16 videos that were talking heaps of sense. I only finished watching them recently and the thing that stuck most was the call to get started, to do something, to make the first move even if your plan isn’t perfect. I went ahead and ordered hard copies on DVD which I’m waiting on to arrive. I want to go back to these videos again and again as I build a business.

As I understand it, Mike has (had?) 10,000 sets to give away. I don’t know if there are any left as the offer was put out before Christmas. Try to grab yourself a set (aff. link) if you can, for free remember! Plus he throws in some bonuses but I haven’t looked at those yet so can’t comment. Really, if you are looking for inspiration or have already started your business and could do with some genuinely useful and free advice, get these videos (aff. link) before they are all gone.
