2,000 Twitter Followers in One Month As Guaranteed

Time flies and a month has passed since I started using Twittollower, an automated service that claims it will generate at least 2,000 new targeted followers on Twitter every month.

So how did my trial period work out?

Today my Twitter account stands at 2,063 followers. Twittollower delivered almost exactly what it said it would deliver. Here’s a link to my Twitter account as evidence.

These followers account for steady flow of unique visits to my blog each day. Not a huge amount of traffic but don’t forget I’m just starting out trying to build a site from the ground up. I’ve noticed Google pays a lot of attention to Twitter and for the first couple of weeks, whilst my site was getting indexed, it was my Twitter listing that represented my only presence on Google.

Of course there’s no point having followers if you don’t have anything to lead them to. So I auto-tweet my blog posts using a plugin. More automation.

Which leads to a question, is it right to use robots to assist your marketing efforts online?

For me, that depends. If you are buying lists and then auto-spamming the victims there’s no doubt you’ve crossed a line. But establishing a Twitter presence was one of my initial objectives. I would have used manual follow techniques anyway, it just would have taken me longer and left me less time to create content.

But is automation in the spirit of the service Twitter offers? If you said that was a grey area, I’d agree. And so I chose to auto-follow people who has expressed an interest in Internet marketing. This matches my list to my content and is targeting a group that I doubt has a problem with marketing techniques.

Indeed, for almost every follow I get an automated direct message, some saying hello, some saying thanks for the follow but most asking me to visit a web site or sign up for a newsletter.

I don’t mind a bit, it’s what I’d expect given the niche.

And I’m creating unique content (good, bad or indifferent) and pushing it out to my one and only list, my Twitter followers. For sure, most of the time it probably gets deluged by the sheer flood of tweets passing through the servers. But some will catch a glance and a few of those click through to read as my numbers show.

Plus I think it’s fine to auto-tweet, no different to pushing content to your RSS feed automatically.

I’ll also be using automation to build my marketing mini-sites, not a paid service but my own creation tailored in such a way as the end product is precisely how I want it to be.

Am I trying to find excuses for dubious marketing strategies? No, not at all. I’m simply pointing out that I put some thought behind what I do online and part of that process is satisfying myself I’m playing it within respectable parameters.

I like it a lot when a product lives up to its billing. If Twitter is part of your marketing strategy then have a look at Twittollower. I’m happy to plug it because I have used it myself and seen it deliver. Here’s the introductory video via my affiliate link, if you sign up to the service I will get a commission but it won’t affect how much you pay.

Make that 2,066 followers, a few more came through while I was typing.
